Hey everyone!! So I know that I've been super M.I.A. and I know I have no excuse, but I've been extremely busy with school! Time goes by so fast, so when we just finished the first month exams midterms were about to begin!
Now I'm in finals, and I've been really busy going every day since very early in the morning until very late in the night just to study for the exam that is approaching.
Thank you for understanding...
But what I've been more excited of this semester is that I've met a lot of wonderful people, and even though we are not doing the same, we still are great and close friends. Many of my friends are studying completely different things and we still get along really well. My bff is studying to be an architect, a close friend of mine is studying communication and digital media, a couple of my friends are studying International Businesses, and my male bff (who lives far away right now) studies Mechanical Engineering and Electricity.
If you didn't know, in Mexico there are programs already made and you chose the one that goes better with your plans, for example I love makeup and I've always wanted to have my own makeup business, that's why I decided to study a career called "Chemical Engineering and Business Administration"; and what I love the most is that I have a class called "Introduction to Chemical Engineering and Business Administration" and I've found girls that also want to have their own makeup lines and we've been sharing ideas and plans.
What I'm trying to show you in this quick blog post is that I was afraid because I didn't feel ready to start this new journey that life has for me, but I took the risk and now I know i was ready and that I'm having the time of my life, even though I do feel really tired and stressed out, I know everything is totally worth it.

Let's Get Married!!
So, today I was bored at my house and I decided to start a new series called "Let's Get Married!!"
The first thing that comes to my mind is THE dress.. I've always had an idea of what my dreamed dress would look like and I finally found it! (I'm NOT getting married, but as almost every girl I dream about that day)
When I read that Alfred Angelo created a collection inspired on Disney Princesses the first thing that came to my mind was "What?!? Disney Princesses? Ohh No! They are going to be all pooffy and cheesy!"
But when I saw them I was like "OH MY GOD! They are AMAZING!!"

Anyways... What I've found of tips and tricks for your wedding day (I've never been married, but I had a big quinceañera and so did my sister, so when having professionals doing your hair and makeup you learn things)
- Never EVER use makeup with glitter on it!! They might look nice in person, but pictures change everything!!
- Try natural looks!! Even if you looove a makeup trend (orange lips, for example) try to go for a more natural look, right now you might think it looks amazin, but in 10 or 20 years when you go through your photos you'll be like "What the H was I thinking?!?" (The same goes for nails)
- Use comfortable shoes! I know we all love high heels on the special day! BUT you can do 2 things, take a pair of white sneakers of sandals and put them on when you feel tired OR wear high heeled sneakers!! I know they are not the prettiest shoes ever BUT they are extremely comfortable... I wore them on my quinceañera (which was a month after I broke my foot) and I used them ALL NIGHT LONG! I was dancing all night and having a blast but I still had those 4 extra inches ;)
- Drink plenty of water! Your skin will be fresh and glowy and pretty!
- Eat breakfast and lunch! You might not have time to eat dinner during your party, so eat healthy to prevent anything for happening.
- Check every appointment before the day! You don't want to feel all stressed out that day! So, just check before.
- Make sure nothing's missing! The day of my sister's quinceañera I couldn't find my strapless bra! So I had to use another... So, to prevent anything bad just check before you go to sleep!
- Sleep well! I know, I know.... You are really excited about this day and everything, but if you don't sleep well one night before you'll feel tired and maybe you could be on a bad mood...
- DON'T GET DRUNK! Please! Just! Drink a little, just because it's an open-bar it doesn't mean that you have to drink all of it! Besides, people is drunk they just don't remember what happened, and I don't think you want to forget what happened on your precious night...

Freshman Year, Here I Come!!

GET READY TO READ THE MOST RANDOM THINGS, I'M TYPING WHAT COMES TO MY MIND WITHOUT AN SPECIFIC ORDER
Hey everyone!!
So I know this is off-topic, but I felt I needed to share this with you!
First of all, I'd like to explain how the school works here...
We normally do 3 years of kindergarten, 6 of elementary, 3 of junior high, and 3 of high school... So even though we do less years of high school, we still go from the 1st to the 12th grade)... Then you go to university, but you go directly to where you want to (law, medical, engineering, etc) and most of the colleges offer 9 semester programs, but some programs are 10 semesters (for example, in my school the Architecture program is 10 semesters long)...
With that being said.....
So, this year I'll be a freshman in college... I'll be studying Chemical Engineering and Business Administration, so I know the next 9 semesters everything will be hard...
Why I chose this?
I don't really know, I guess it was because I tried to do the opposite of what my parents told me I could do; please don't get me wrong, I don't always do the opposite, but I felt that what my parents wanted me to be wasn't what I felt like doing (they wanted me to do things that I could do in my house, like an accountant or something like that), bur I've always loved 3 things: beauty (duhh!), helping others, and science... I really enjoyed my physics, chemistry and calculus classes and I felt like those were the things that I wanted to do for living (now I have 2 dreamed jobs: working in a cosmetic company creating different products, and the other is working in a pharmaceutic company creating the best medicines)...
Why I'm nervous?
I'm going to a big school... I used to live in a small town and my school always had a small population, then when I got into high school I went to a "big" campus (that's what I thought), and the entire school population was of 400 people, then on my Senior year I was transfered to a new school where the population was bigger (about 1,000 people), but now I'm going to a school where students from all around the world come and the approximate population is of 16,000 people!! I feel like I'll get lost in such a big campus!
I'm also nervous because I know nothing will be similar to high school... People always told me that the best stage of their lives has been high school and until now this has been completely true! (So, if you are still in high school ENJOY IT AS MUCH AS YOU CAN!!), I know many of my friends will still be around, but there are many others that are going to different schools or even in the same school but to a different section (like literature, or law school, medical school, etc)
I'm afraid that I won't be good enough for this, but I know that I have to give 300% of me to achieve my goals!
So, if you have tips for the freshman year, please share them here!!

☼ How To: Frozen Yogurt Pops!! ☼
Hey Guys!! So I'll show you a really quick post of how I do frogurt pops :D
What you need:
What you need:
- 2 yogurts: I like Activia in strawberry and natural. I like to use these 2 flavors because I feel like if I use 2 strawberry yogurts the banana flavor won't "pop". You can use any yogurt you want (lactose free, light, regular, etc)
- 1 banana (you can use peaches, mangoes, etc)
- 2 cups and 2 wooden sticks or popsicle molds
- Vanilla extract
- Blender
Process:
- Put the yogurt in the blender
- Chop the fruit in small/medium sized pieces.
- Add the fruit and the vanilla extract to the yogurt
- Blend until everything becomes and homogeneous mixture
- Pour the mixture into the cups/popsicle molds
- Put them in the freezer (I like to let them overnight to make sure it is entirely frozen)

I loooove it because it makes my hair feel alive again!! I bought it to help with my hair extensions, but I began to use it in my hair in an everyday basis. It helps with the detangling process and the hair feels so clean and lightweight!! Gotta love it!!
It is an amazing foundation!! Great coverage, dewy finish, inexpensive, there's nothing else I can say!
I'm OBSESSED!! I just can't believe that I didn't start watching this before!! I just begun season 3 and I'm hooked!

Sedona Lace Contest Entry (:
Hey everyone!!
So I'm doing this post because I want to win a black set of the Sedona Lace 12 makeup brushes set.
These are the reasons of why I want to try these:
1) They look so elegant!! I prefer them black (I'm not a big fan of baby pink), and I think these will be amazing when doing other people's makeup and having a professional look.
2) They are great quality. I've never used these cosmetic brushes BUT according to the many reviews I've watched and read these brushes are really comparable to really expensive brushes, and if they do the same job I think there is no acceptable reason for buying the expensive ones ;)
3) A good quality makeup brush is really important for getting a good quality makeup look, you could be using really expensive makeup, but if you are using the wrong tools the final look won't be nice.
I think these are three of the main reasons I have, but of course there are so many others!!

First Impressions: COSTCO Brush Set
Hey everyone!! This are my first impressions of the new set of brushes from Costco. I think they feel amazingly soft and really good quality.
To start, this is how the packaging looks like:
The packaging feels of great quality and has the perfect size for a kick-ass gift!
Now, onto the brushes...
FACE BRUSHES:
EYE BRUSHES:
BRUSH ROLL:
A little smelly, it only has space for 9 brushes, not for the Kabuki Brush.
OVERALL GRADE: 9/10. When I washed the kabuki brush some of the color of the hairs came off, also when you first open the box it has a weird scent.
I might purchase this again, not right away, but maybe in a few years.

Hey everyone!!! So, this post still has no title, so I'll type what I feel like telling and then I'll name it! hahaha
First of all: I MISS YOU SO MUCH!! Sorry I've been so gone, but with my classes and exams and class pictures I literally have no time!! (My sleeping time went from 7 hours to 4-5) That's how bad this is.
Some people might think that this is my fault because I chose to get into this school, knowing that this was going to be hard and tough, that this was going to bring a lot of stress and non-sleeping hours; but I'm really happy with my choices. I know that all these sacrifices (I've missed great parties, some time with my family) are going to be worth it.
Second of all: My brain is drying of ideas! That's why I need you to give me suggestions and ideas of what you want to see next! (ANSWER THIS SHORT SURVEY, PLEASE)

First of all: PARTIALS!
I hate them so much! They are sooo hard! like, I need to study waaay before the exam, and it is a 40 min long exam! wth?!?
I've been studying so much because this is my last high school semester and I don't want to fail any subject (:
The Weather!
I know this isn't and excuse but the weather has been sooo bad that I hate the lighting and I can't do any video ):, so now that the weather is better and because tomorrow I have no exams, I might do a quick valentines tutorial for you (yaaaay!)
This weekend I was on vacations....
Well it wasn't like VACATIONS, we just went to Mexico City for a weekend, so basically I did NOTHING! (Fail!)

So I'm planning to do some sort of Valentines series (like not painting hearts all over my face), so I'll be doing some looks that are perfect for a date or just a Valentines day with your friends...
The first look is inspired by Rachel McAdams...
As you can see, she has a very simple eye makeup, rosie cheeks and pinkish-winey type of lip color; and for her hair she has 2 reversed french braids in the frond and a side bun....
The nice thing about this look is that you can accessorize it with any flower color you want... In the photo she is wearing a white dress and I think that that pink flower gives her a feminine cute touch.
The steps are really simple to follow and the final result will be incredible!
